Philanthropy of the self

Baby, I’ve seen this before: It’s up to you to decide who’s who, who’s you. It’s not selfishness,it’s being «protagonist» of your own existence. Is your existence «owned»? «possesed»? yours? Tell me, once and for all: are you who you want to be? The person you once dreamt to become? Do you live the life you ought to live the way it is meant to be lived? Are you there for your needy self? Or is this the story of the betrayal of what is and what will-could- be?
